Meet Rocco, a beautiful five-year-old fox red Sharpei x Cocker Spaniel whose loyal heart is searching for a place to call home. For most of his life, Rocco thrived in the warm embrace of a loving family. But two months ago, his world changed, and since then he’s been staying with friends and relatives, waiting patiently for someone special to come along and offer him the security and love he so deserves.
Rocco is a gentle soul—affectionate, slightly on the lazy side, and happiest when trotting beside you on a walk or snoozing in a sunny corner. He will be a devoted companion, a loyal best friend, and a true soulmate to the right person. Rocco is wonderfully easy to care for, low-maintenance and content to spend time on his own. While initially cautious, a little time and patience help him warm up to other dogs, and he’ll soon be happy in their company too.
Life’s uncertainties can make Rocco anxious, especially when faced with new or unfamiliar situations. Because of this, he truly needs a calm, safe haven—a quiet corner of your home where he can retreat and feel secure whenever he needs to. Rocco’s journey hasn’t always been easy; he’s had a couple of incidents where he mouthed a child, and a thorough behavioural assessment has been completed to help his new family understand how best to support him moving forward.
For these reasons, Rocco would be happiest in a peaceful, adult-only home without young children or hectic, bustling activity. He’s longing for a serene environment where his gentle personality can flourish and his unique needs can be respected and cherished.
